In God do our soul find rest

"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble, and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light." (Matthew 11:28-3) In these comforting words from Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus extends a compassionate and deeply personal invitation to all who experience weariness and burden, promising solace and renewal. The image of the yoke, symbolic of submission, obedience, and labor, is paradoxically presented as the key to rest and freedom. In calling the weary to Himself, Jesus offers relief from earthly struggles and the profound rest that comes from sharing life with Him.
