A Light for everyone

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, giving light to all in the house. Your light must shine before others so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." (Matthew 5:14-16) Christ’s words in the Sermon on the Mount present an imperative for all who seek to follow Him: to be a visible and active witness to the Gospel. Light is essential in biblical tradition, signifying divine presence, wisdom, and holiness.
